NOT SO GOOD @ SMALL TALK
THE STORY
The idea came in 2020 during lockdown after a paper trail of stories that never saw the light of day and trial audio recordings for a make-believe podcast.
I’d like to think that I’ve always been a creative, not the artsy drawing and painting type, but the type that devours books hoping to write them one day. My mom is one—a writer. She is my favorite inspiration. I didn’t set a finite goal at the time, just played with the idea of starting a blog while simultaneously producing podcast episodes which, a few years ago, felt like such a reach. I pocketed that dream for later and pursued a corporate profession as a high school graduate on a 2-year sabbatical.
I worked in real estate, was a virtual assistant, and even sold dumpsters at one point (that was interesting). Although I still passionately involve myself in the concrete jungle of real estate, I rekindled my creative spark for all things literature and created what is now called Not So Good @ Small Talk. Here I intend to blog about my adventures in Europe as a twenty-something year-old (+ a plethora of other topics) which will hopefully inspire (and entertain) some people. Oh, and there’s also a podcast, so go and check it out!
